We are delighted that Missing People is one of three charities chosen by The Telegraph to benefit from its 2017 Christmas Appeal.

Launching on Saturday 11th November, support from The Telegraph and its readers over the festive period will help keep Missing People's crisis support services going around the clock.

Ross Miller, Director of Fundraising and Communication at Missing People, said:
We’re delighted to be one of the three charities to benefit from the Telegraph’s Christmas Charity Appeal. This is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of those who are missing and to put a spotlight on an issue that impacts around a million people each year.

Christmas can be a particularly difficult time of year for families with a missing loved one. Funds raised through the appeal will provide much needed crisis support at a time when its needed most - and help to bring people safely home.

Every year The Telegraph supports charities in need of funds. Last year's charity appeal raised more than £550,000.

To date, the appeal has raised close to £24m for a host of deserving causes over the decades. Readers' donations, small or large, have proved a lifeline to the paper's chosen charities.

The other two charities due to benefit from this year's appeal are Canine Partners and FareShare.
