Many companies have found that the bonding experience participants experience on an adventure challenge, can bring very real benefits to a corporate team. It's of course a very real training ground and people from all backgrounds are levelled to the same starting point as they all leave their comfort zone for up to two weeks, experiencing life away from their families, without home comforts such as a bed, flushing toilet, mobile phones, TV and radio, where they may have to rely on their colleagues when morale is low, or if they are physically shattered from the challenge.
