Our 1-2-1 Chat is an instant messenger chat where people can have a full conversation about what’s going on for them and how they are feeling. This chat service is aimed at young people who are away from home or thinking of going missing.
As one of the supervisors for our 1-2-1 Chat, Alex is there to listen and talk things through, he takes us through a typical day spent offering information and advice. Please note that this is an example of a ‘typical’ day and all details have been anonymised.
The free service is completely confidential. Since launching two years ago, service users can access Runaway Helpline’s 1-2-1 Chat anonymously. It’s fully confidential and open 365 days a year from 2:30pm to 9:30pm. Between those times, you can access the chat on the button below.
